1) the news section of the website is used infrequently by the agent - there should be quality content and imagery daily or worst case, every 48 hours - but there must be an article announcing every new instruction - talking about the micro area, yields etc. There should also be an article on every customer-review and reaction to every serious property media event etc
2) the news section has lazy stuff like 'copy and pastes' of recipes etc not the things people want to hear- the value of their asset, yields, value drivers, why their 'micro area' is the best etc - there should be a comprehensive market report monthly or at minimum quarterly.......get someone to do it if you don't fancy it or don't have time
3) the news section has poor tech (that is inexcusable these days with access to cheap Indian web tech) this means there's not a new page for each article, the URL is poor, the article isn't meta tagged / doesn't have a meta description etc
4) the agent doesn't e-newsletter despatch out these articles after taking the time to write them... they have thousands of emails usually within their CRM that get an occasional match about a flat rather than quality marketing and analysis etc
5) the agent doesn't 'social media' out these articles after taking the time to write them (please remember to tiny-url them)
6) the images the articles are poor or worse contain images that aren't real - i.e mostly attractive people on Istock (we've all been there but looks fake these days)
7) the agent doesn't have enough quality local imagery or takes poor photos of property and the locally themselves - check what the premium brands do
8) the agent copies and pastes content..........looks lazy to enduser and destroys SEO
